Da iawn Blwyddyn 3! Lots of children baked welsh cakes this week, designed their own dragons, researched facts about St. David, learnt a traditional Welsh dance, learnt and sang the Welsh national anthem, created posters about Wales and made daffodils

Connor chose a painting by Welsh artist Peter Morgan and drew his own version of it. Mrs Pridmore thinks he earned the yummy Welsh cakes as a treat for all his hard work! Gwych Connor!

Lots of Mrs Pridmore's boys worked hard on daffodils and dragons for St David's Day. Da iawn pawb!

Mrs Pridmore is extremely proud of Billy who for St David's Day researched which footballers from his favourite football team to find out which of them also played for Wales. Gwaith da Billy!

#BurYear3 have been learning to name, make and identify the properties of 3D shapes this week.

Year 3 have learnt about Stone Age tools and weapons this week and even created their own Stone Age carvings using soap. #BurYear3

This week in Mrs Pridmore's class we have all been very busy - making drinks for pirates, learning about constellations and compass points, solving pirate problems and playing snakes and ladders. Well done everyone!

Last week in our Live Teams call we had a show and tell session. We met pets, saw fidget spinners, favourite toys, prisms, polydrons and a giant pirate ship. We even met Mrs Bastian's dogs! Mrs Pridmore can't wait for this week!

Megan and her mum Katie have made £104 selling Pusey Bear badges for Children in Need for First Cwmbwrla Brownies. They set themselves the challenge of raising £47 which is their combined ages, and they have more than doubled it! Fantastic effort both!
